What is the difference between these two Ticket fields?

Hi there!

What is the difference between these two Ticket fields?

We want to associate the Tickets to Deals so we can keep track of which tickets are connected to which partners.

Can't figure out if we should be using one or the other or both... thank you for your input!

Thank you @sarahbecherer, this is really helpful!

I checked multiple accounts with different subscriptions and can only find the Ticket deals option, could the other one be a custom property?

From Settings → Properties, change the object at the top to Ticket properties and search for "deal" to see if you get any results.

I'm not able to find the Ticket → Deal value here, but if it's a custom property then it should be there.

If it's not a custom property, I'm wondering if it might be a legacy property.

From your ticket view, can you filter to see how many tickets have values for each of the choices?

It might help us to understand how the second one is being used.

Hi @sarahbecherer can you share more details about where you're found these two ticket types and how you're associating Tickets to Deals?

I don't see the same option and just want to make sure we're talking about the same thing.

hi there! thanks for the reply! sorry for not providing more context.

when i go into the "Edit Columns" section of my Tickets View, both are presented as options for Ticket Associations.

we didn't create either of these so i'm wondering if there is one that is better to use than the other? or if i should just pick one and ignore the other one?
