SOLVE

Hello, We HAve a problem related to permissions on tickets.  Wesee that when a user is a member of two different teams all team mebers of both teams can see all the tickets, even those not related to their team. exampple

Tim is a meber of team A

Bob is a member of team B

Alice is a member of team A and an extra team member of B.

I would expect that Tim sees all A tickets, Bob sees all B tickets and Alice sees all A and B tickets.

But in this configuration all three members se eall the tickets of both teams and no team sharing is active on the tickets

As soon as we remove Alice from team B as a extra member the ticket permission works as excpected.

Obviously all users have setting to seee only their team's tickets

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Hi @AFerrari11,

This depends on the ownership of the tickets – but generally yes, if Alice owns tickets and is a member of team A and B, then everyone on both teams can see Alice's tickets. Access permissions are inherited that way.

If Alice must own certain tickets, then I cannot think of a solution here, there's a goal conflict. If permissions are set to team-only and if someone is in two teams and owns records, by extension that means that these respective teams gain access to those tickets.

You would have to find a team setup where Alice is either not a member of two teams, does not own any ticket records or where members on team A or B cannot see team tickets.

Best regards!
