Update Ticket Owner to Created by User ID

SOLVE

Hello all,


Looking for a way to update a tickets owner to the "Created by User ID" based on the status of the pipeline.
E.g. When a ticket progresses to a specific step I want the owner to revert back to the person who created the ticket (will be an internal user but would be good to do this for externals as well).
After that I would have additional triggers setup to send that owner an automated email. 

I can't just specify the user as these tickets could be created by half the company and I need it to send the email only to the person who submitted the ticket. 

Any ideas?

Hi @ShannonDean ,

 

There is no simple way to do this unfortunately. If you have Ops Hub I think it would be doable using custom code - but you would need a developer to do this.
