We work though lots of tickets with our customers. They rely heavily on the customer portal for working tickets. They want a timestamp to know how quickly responses are being recived and given back and forth. Currently it only gives dates..... not good enough. We want TIME stamps on the messages within the customer portal as well.
As a software and platform developer myself, I agree that there are many small details like this that seem to be overlooked by Hubspot's design team. One issue we find frustrating is that when logging an call on a ticket, the system can enter the time to the minute but if you try to change the time then you only have choices in 15 minute increments which, when dealing with a high call rate and shorter calls, does lead to inaccurate representations.
You could add timestamps to messages in the customer portal so customers can track response times more accurately. Tools like Ketch can help manage and log interactions while providing clear time details alongside dates for better transparency.
