Searching for tickets based on company properties

SOLVE

Hi there

Does anyone know if it is possible to filter down service tickets based on properties of the company the ticket is associated with? I can only find a way of filtering down service tickets by ticket properties.

Thanks

Dave

Hi @DCrookson,

Not via the search field, no. However, you can click All filters, search "company" and conduct your search that way:

Then:

Hope this helps!

Hi @DCrookson,

Navigate to Menu > Reports > Reports > Create custom report > Custom Report Builder. Select tickets (primary) and companies as data sources. Next, you can pick all properties from the left sidebar that you'd like to have in your table. Pick a table for visualisation.

Let me know if you get stuck at any point!

Hi

It would be very helpful indeed that you are able to search in your Service - Tickets overview on Company/Contact name.

Is there a chance this will be implemented in the future?

Thanks.

Kind regards

Thanks Karsten

Although this doesn't quite solve my problem; I'm looking for a way of filtering down service tickets by associated company properties, not just associated companies.

Cheers

Dave

Hi @DCrookson,

Got it. Unfortunately, that's not possible via the ticket index page. You could use cross-object reports for this, although again that's not exactly the same.

Best regards!

Hi Karsten

Thanks for the suggestion. Could you point me in the right direction for some help with cross-object reports, or let me know how to create them?

Many thanks

Dave
