Mobile Notifications for Chat

Hello,

 

We've recently integrated chat to our website, but for some reason - I'm not receiving notifcations to my mobile phone.

 

I have used this HubSpot feature before, and I'd receive a notification on my mobile from Slack (We've not integrated this, if there is any help with this too) and the HubSpot app when a new chat is started or a message is responded to.

 

Can anyone help?

I've just checked my notification settings, it appears they're as they should be, please see the below screenshots:

I also then checked my chatflow to ensure the new chats are being assigned to me, which they are, please see below:

I then tried a chat, to see if it works, which it didn't unfortunately:

Thanks for the screenshots @KieranLake! Notifications can be tricky. Let's walk through the troubleshooting outlined in that same article here

 

If you're experiencing issues with HubSpot mobile notifications, check if notification settings are disabled for the HubSpot app on your device.

  • Open the HubSpot app on your device.
  • Tap Menu, then tap the settings settings icon in the left sidebar.
  • Tap Notifications.
  • If your notifications are switched off in your settings, tap Open Settings App to enable notifications for the HubSpot app.
  • If notifications are enabled for HubSpot, return to Settings and tap Troubleshoot Notifications. In Android, you'll see Running... under the setting.
  • The diagnostic tool will check if your HubSpot app is correctly registered with the HubSpot servers.
    • If it isn't, you'll see a dialog box with the message Something went wrong registering your HubSpot app..., and HubSpot will try to register your app again.
    • If notifications are working correctly, you'll receive a sample notification on your device.

Can you verify that your Mobile App notifications are all enabled for Chat and email conversations in your HubSpot user? This Knowledge Base article will walk you through how to verify the settings on your phone and in the app itself.  

 

If these settings are enabled, but you are still not getting notifications, please reply with screenshots of the settings and we can keep digging!
