Hello! Is there any way we can create a ticket property mandatory if another ticket propery is selected? To clarify, we have a ticket property called 'Category'. If the ticket category is selected as 'Asset Performance' can we create another ticket property, 'Asset', to be mandatory? So if someone selects 'Asset Performance' as the ticket category, is there a way they can be prompted to fill out the ticket property 'Asset'? As of now, people are selecting 'Asset Performance' as the ticket category but are not filling out the 'Asset' property. We need the 'Asset' property to be mandatory.
This is unfortunately currently not possible. Out of the box, there aren't any features which allow for setting a conditional, required property.
Here are two workarounds I usually implement:
While you're not able to make it mandatory, you can place both properties right below each other in the left ticket sidebar and change the label of the category value 'Asset performance' to 'Asset performance (specify Asset below)'. That way, when someone selects the value, they at least get a cue to fill the other property.
You could consider adding an asset value 'N/a' and make filling the asset field required for the closed ticket status, see here. Not ideal, as it forces uses to fill the field even when it doesn't apply.
I'd recommend upvoting and commenting. The product team reviews these requests based on their popularity. You can also make it easier for others to find this request by accepting my reply as a solution. I'd appreciate it!

Hello @TCastillo1 and @gdisiti Now, we have conditional logic for a property, but we have a problem when you try to create a ticket in the mobile app, only works in the web version of HubSpot. So, if you want to create a ticket with the mobile app with some aditional mandatory property or conditional logic, you can't. Here we have an idea for hubspot developers to solve this problem: HubSpot Community - Conditional logic supported in the HubSpot mobile app. - HubSpot Community
Hi there! Yes, it is possible to Make An ticket property mandatory if another ticket property is selected. This can usually be done through customization or configuration of your ticketing system. You can check with the support team or documentation of your ticketing system for more information on how to set this up. Good luck!
