How to track trade show events

SOLVE

Hello, we are looking for a way to track trade shows, with the following data points:

 

-Trade show name

-Location

-Date

-Attended By: First/Last Name

-Notes

 

However, we don't want ot use meetings or calls because they require a company to be created.

 

We also looked at the scheduling page but that is used for a different purpose.

 

Our account doesn't allow for custom objects.

Is this information something the contact is giving you or is it something you are adding into the contact record? If it's something you are adding in, you could use notes activity as well. Would love a little more detail to your needs so we can help a little more and possible dive a little deeper.

I have gathered some ideas from our users in the HubSpot Community that could potentially help with your situation.

 

1. One suggestion is to create a HubSpot form that trade show attendees can fill out on-site using an iPad or a similar device. This way, you can collect their information directly into your HubSpot account.

 

2. Another idea is to keep a list of manual signups and then import them into HubSpot. You can use a customer property that tags the event name, such as a multicheck property that allows you to add multiple trade show names. This way, your customers can have multiple tags if applicable. For more detailed information and discussions on these ideas, please refer to the threads in the HubSpot Community.
