How to change the out of office automated chat responds?

resolver

Hi, I am a one man company and all the predefined out of office messages always say "we". If I disable those messages - wihich I dont want to - my klients are still getting these false and disturbing messages. Where/How I can edit these messages or just can change the "we" in an "I" or fully disable these messages? Thanks!

Ah I see what you mean now. I am sorry I didn't understand in the first place.

They 'we' in that case is not changable, but you could choose to go for the 'Don't show a reply time'.  Then the sentence will disappear.

Kind regards,

Hi @NooraO Just had the same probelm, but I found the answer, if you go to

Inbox Settings > Channels

then you will see the Chat channel, you need to hit Edit here.. then you can see "Availablility" next to  "Configure

Hi @PeteRick ,

Follow these steps:

  • Go to Conversations --> Chatflows in the top menu when logged into HubSpot
  • Hoover over the existing chatflow and click 'Edit'
  • Go the the third step which says 'Availability'
  • In the box 'Availability behavior' you can set your away/out of office message.
  • Also check the 'Outside business hours' tab to make sure that's set as well

Hope this helps!

Why I cannot see this availability window anymore after creating my first live chat? I can't change my away message because there's no way to access this view 😱

It only works if I set the business hours to 24/7 (maybe the system time is not european). Than it works fine. To my second question: How to change the "we" to "I" if I really want my klients to know that "I usually will answer in within 5 Minutes" etc . Many thanks!

Hi @PeteRick

You can find the system time at your general account settings --> General info.

The 'we' can be easily replaced by 'I' by editing the text in the box from my previous screenshot.

Hope this helps!

I need to change the "we" of (all) the options from "typical response time". There are only "we" options. Even the "custom" one is not editable. It is the sentense beneath my name in the header.
