HELP PLEASE DOMAIN

SOLVE

Hi @FJackson06

You can definitely link your previous domain to your new HubSpot account.

Typically, this requires updating the domain's DNS records.

However, since we don't have access to your old HubSpot account, there may be an extra step required. To ensure a seamless transition,

I encourage reaching out to HubSpot's support team for guidance and assistance.

Best regards

HELP PLEASE DOMAIN

SOLVE

Hi @FJackson06,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

I understand that you have a domain A that is connected currently to a Hub account 1 and you'd like to connect this same domain A to a Hub account 2. Please let me know if that's not the case.

For that, you will need to first remove the domain from the Hub account 1 and then, once removed, connect this same domain to the Hub account 2.

If you have already tried these steps but it doesn't work, can you please share a screenshot of the error message you are seeing?

The more info, screenshots (without sensitive/confidential information), and details you can provide, the better the Community can assist.

I'd like to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation: Hi @Jnix284, @OPerek-Clark and @Humashankar do you have suggestions to help @FJackson06, please?

Also, if anybody else has anything to add and/or share, please feel free to join in the conversation 🙂

Thanks a lot and have a wonderful day!

Best,
Bérangère

What is my option for getting the domain removed from Hub account 1 if it is unable to be reactivated?

HELP PLEASE DOMAIN

SOLVE

Hi @FJackson06

HubSpot has a limitation that prevents directly removing a domain name from an inactive account (Hub account 1).

As a result, the option to "uninstall" the domain from the old account is not available. Since reactivating the old account is not possible, the main objective is to transfer the domain (lovjazpropertiesftc.org) to your new HubSpot account (Hub account 2).

This process won't impact the inactive account, as a domain can only be linked to one active HubSpot account at a time

Hope this helps !!

Hi @FJackson06

Have you received a prompt to verify your domain, (lovjazpropertiesftc.org )? If not, don't worry! Reaching out to the support team will resolve this issue. They can assist in disconnecting the domain from Account 1 and reconnecting it to Account 2, ensuring a smooth transition.
