Favorite Contacts: first options to select when starting conversation

Is there a way to set contacts as favorites for specific inboxes so that the favorite contact(s) appear first/towards the top of the list when entering them as a recipient in an email inside the conversations inbox?

 

For example, if your organization has 26 Jonathans in contacts, and you are looking for Jonathan Z., it would be nice if Jonathan appeared at the top of the list over Jonathans with last names starting A-Y, especially since sometimes reps are more familiar with the contact as "Jonathan from company X" instead of knowing last names.

 

Another alternative, is there a way to make a favorites list easily accessible from the inbox convo page that has a list of ~20 people the user regularly emails? They could then quickly ID the correct contact to add to a thread from a condensed list. This list would ideally be visible from the inbox page itself; opening a separate tab is not ideal for workflow.

I would highly recommend you to please post this idea at our ideas forum (here).

Our product team, who monitors the forum regularly, can read your specific use case and understand why this would be a useful functionality or change. It also helps other customers facing the same issue to advocate for its implementation on your behalf by upvoting on the thread as well.

 

If this is connected to an email inbox, you will need to add those filters on the email provider's platform.
