Email Signature in Shared Inbox



We are in the process of moving shared inboxes into HubSpot and are setting up the team signatures. However, we were having an error code issue and after chatting with support it turns out there is a character limit.


This essentially means any simple banners within the signature will take it over the limit and will not save. Therefore we will have to have different signatures depending on where the email is sent from. Outlook full signature, HubSpot partial.


Another particular issue for us is the banner is actually a fundraising banner for a local charity. We will have to place something less character intensive in, but that means less advertising for donations. The banner is already fairly simple.


The current limit is 65,535 characters, whereas ours with the banner would have been about 170,000. It would be great if this limit was reviewed to allow for what is a fairly typical email signature.
