Email Distribution Lists

From a Tickets/Help Desk perspective, within the Email function we'd like to select a Distribution List from the To: field instead of adding 10s or 100s of addresses manually. We've looked at Lists, too cumbersome & very marketing/sales focus & even if you create a List you cannot select it from the To: field. What do other people do ? Revert back to classic Outlook Distribution lists or there's other 3rd party tolls out there ?

I agree. My team is now in ServiceHub/HelpDesk & looking to send ticket correspondence to distribution lists. A quick fix would definitely being able to allow us to email to a segement on the email screen. They should be able to email to the segment on the fly, not just in a workflow or sequence. I went ahead & created an Idea Post.

Hi, we send standard emails to regular customers, companies, vendors and suppliers to update them on service delivery issues. Could be hundreds of variations.

Example

Western Australia airport has delays for freight bound for New South Wales Australia, we'd like to inform New South Wales team leaders, managers for 30-40 companies, affected logistics partners and suppliers impacted by this delay using Hubspot Distribution List.

Hello,

I suggest you create a dynamic list based on some conditions/property values. For example, if a contact has created a ticket today, include them on the list.

Then, using the e-mail marketing functionalities, you send an e-mail only to members of this dynamic list using a workflow :

I understand you are looking to include distribution lists within your HelpDesk email sends. Could you provide some more context as to how you would use these lists? 

Typically emails sent from Help Desk would pertain to one contact or company at a time, so is your goal to include 100s of contacts from the same company in an email conversation about a particular ticket?
