Create subcategories of company types

SOLVE

Hello, How can I have under Company:

A 1st level property called Types of Partners

And then a 2nd level associated to each 1st level property

Basically a subcategories of Property

See below an example of the structure

So then, when I want to select VC Venture Capital companies for example, I select the 1st level Investors Financer’s and I have the choice to select all or to dig deeper into 2nd level and select only VC Venture Capital

How do I do that? And how do I prepare my file for this kind of upload? If it is a paid option that is not a problem, I just want to know if it is possible

1st Level Types of Partners

  • Investor’s financers
    • 2nd Level Types of Investors
      • VC Venture Capital
      • PE Private Equity
      • Angel’s Investors
  • Ecosystem Enablers
    • 2nd Level Types of Enablers
      • Incubator
      • Accelerator
  • Start-ups
    • 2nd Level Start-ups Sectors
      • Healthcare
      • Clean Energy
  • Public Institutions
    • 2nd level Types of Institutions
      • Ministers
      • DFI

Thank you veru much

Hi @MFreyne,

This can be achieved with conditional properties: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/set-up-conditional-logic-for-enumeration-properties

Thanks, but it seems to work only with some properties not all.

For this exercice I created a custom property called "Types of Partners" with a dropdown menu but i can't add a logic to this property?

Hi @MFreyne,

What types do your properties have? Conditional properties are only supported for:

  • Multiple checkboxes: stores checkboxes that contain several options, with a maximum of 5000 options. Each option has a maximum of 3,000 characters, including its label, value, and description. This is an enumeration property.
  • Dropdown select: stores up to 5000 options, where only one option can be selected as a value. Each option has a maximum of 3,000 characters, including its label, value, and description. In forms, they behave the same as radio select fields, but appear differently. This is an enumeration property.
  • Radio select: stores up to 5000 options, where only one option can be selected as a value. Each option has a maximum of 3,000 characters, including its label, value, and description. When editing on a record, they appear and behave the same as dropdown select fields. In forms, they behave the same as dropdown select fields, but appear differently. Hi,
Then my question is:
Can I get conditional property logic on a free plan? If not, can I get it
in the smallest paid plan?
Furthermore what do I get more by subscribing to the 18$ plan?
Thanks
