Create a list of contacts associated with tickets

SOLVE

Does anyone know of a way to automatically add contacts associated with tickets to a static list? In workflows, I haven't found an association between tickets and contacts.

Create a list of contacts associated with tickets

SOLVE

Hi @RWorsham happy to help with the basics of getting this workflow configured:

 

1 - create a Contact based workflow

 

2 - for the enrollment trigger, you need to change the object from Contact to Ticket so you can determine which tickets should enroll

You can do this in combination with any Contact properties you need, like an association label, etc.

 

3 - choose Add to Static list as the action:

Because it's a Contact based workflow, it's going to add the contact that meets the enrollment criteria to the list.

 

If you use a Ticket based workflow, you can't add the ticket to a list which is likely why you've had trouble getting it to work.
