Conversations > inbox how to connect a Gmail email alias as a channel

Hello,

I would like to connect my marketing@ email to our conversations inbox.

However, when I go to connect it as a channel, HubSpot expects it to be a google group email address, which it is not. It is a alias email address.

Also, it seems like HubSpot wants me to create a new marketing@ email address instead of connecting my existing one.

Any ideas on how to resolve this issue? Would I need to change my marketing@ email address from an alias to a google group email address?

Hi @HRich I believe this is correct, I don't think you can connect an alias - it would have to be configured as a group email.
