For a sub-category, you'd have to create a new custom property which could be a dropdown as well. You can then add this sub-category to your view on the left side and choose each time a new ticket is created.

Can you customize ticket categories with the free version?

Hey @Josh I have the same ask as Laura - Im coming from a tradition ticketing background and finding it difficult to adjust to HS support and would love if someone form HS could just show me exactly how to set up ticket categories using custom priorities. Is this someithing you can help with? Thanks!
