Bulk Edit Deal in Ticket based on Ticket Name

SOLVE

I am trying to figure out a way to bulk edit/update (regularly) tickets with the deal based on the ticket name. I have tried workflows but it doesn't seem like you can update cross-modules. I also tried with Zapier but came across the same limitation. Any ideas?

Bulk Edit Deal in Ticket based on Ticket Name

SOLVE

Hi @liberworm,

This is actually possible, via the "Copy property value" action in right sidebar of the workflow editor:

At this stage it is not possible to specify which deals you'd like to update. HubSpot will update all deals associated with a ticket enrolling in this workflow.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!

Bulk Edit Deal in Ticket based on Ticket Name

SOLVE

Good morning.

It doesn't necessarily need to be automatic but it would be helpful.

I am trying to take an existing ticket in ServiceHub and based on the
Ticket Name, update/add the Deal Field. Within a ticket you have the
ability to add a deal. However it seems like whether you are bulk updating
in the table or as a workflow, Deals are not a field that is available. I
was assuming it is because it is cross module and that functionality is not
available in workflows yet?

Hi @liberworm,

Could you give a detailed example of what exactly you'd like to update and under which conditions?

Generally, associated records can be updated with the following workflow structure, copying a value from the source object to the target object.

karstenkoehler_0-1625196820614.png

It's currently not possible to check whether a property value of the source object matches a property value in the target object – at least not without custom code actions in workflows which would require at least some light development.

Without workflows (= without a Professional or Enterprise license), this is currently not possible. I'm also not aware of any way to achieve this with Zapier.

Best regards!
