Automatically copy ticket description to deal description

Hi! 

When leads submit a website form, we convert relevant tickets immediately into deals so sales people can follow up on these. 

It's important that the sales team can see the ticket description. However it's a real hassle to switch constantly between the contact-, deal-, and ticket records. Multiple sales people have already complained that it is way to confusing to switch between these tabs and you never know which one you're actually using. 

So we wanted to automatically copy the ticket descriptions (questions of the leads) in to the deal descriptions. This way we can simplify the way-of-working, as it would only require switching between 2 tabs: contacts and deals. 

How can I create a workflow to automatically copy the ticket description in to the deal description?

Hi @GLaur,

This could be achieved with a simple workflow like this shown below:

Keep in mind that:

• this requires the ticket to be associated to the deal
• this will update all deals associated to the ticket

As the ticket is the workflow trigger, I assume we would need Service Hub professional to enable this workflow right? 

Currently we only work with Sales and Marketing hub professional.

Correct, without access to ticket-based workflows, this is not possible.
