Intermedia Unite | Call / Contact Tracking

I'm VERY new to Hubspot.  I'm trying to integrate the UNITE app, to the HubSpot CRM to track calls, and to capture notes.  Unite has a native app, and I was able to set up a Legacy app.  

 

Has anyone successfully made the connection work?

The purpose of this request is to connect the Intermedia Unite connection discussed earlier, and make the necessary connection to HubSpot so that our calls in Unite are recorded against the proper contact in HubSpot. At the same time - if possible - we'd like to use the contact name and phone number in HubSpot to make the call and then record (summarize) it in HubSpot. This will allow us to memorialize the calls and the context for future reference.  We were told that using the Unite and HubSpot links we could accomplish this.

 

Thanks for the continued help to achieve our goals of maximizing the power of HubSpot with our phone system (Intermedia Unite)

To clarify - are you having issues with the legacy app? If so, is the goal to connect the native integration? I'm just looking for a little more clarity on your end goal to ensure we can get the right eyes on this issue!

Thank you so much for the answering post.

So, I created the Legacy App:

And then I posted all the proper information - from the Auth tab - into Intermedia Unite (phone app).

 

When we tested it, we got zero information transfer (it's supposed to record outbound and inbound phone calls into the CRM contacts).  for the first 3 days of the app, we had zero (0) API calls to HubSpot CRM.

Today's API calls were "forced" by UNITE.  However, none of the test calls were recorded.

 

So, the UNITE support team told me that I need to use one of these two, to authorize - from the UNITE side - HubSpot API to communicate both ways.

They said that it was most likely that I needed to use the bottom one:

OAuth client IDs

OAuth client ID’s are used to request permissions to access user data within your apps (such as AnyMeeting, Unite).

 

I'm trying to figure out how to make that connection based on this form I have to fill out.

I'm not certain if I'm to use our Clinet Name, our ID, or if there's something in the app that has the information.  When I requested help from the AI assistant I got the following, and for the life of me I can't make sense of it. It appers that I have to create an APP from scratch and I have no clue how to do that.

I'm new to HubSpot, but I truly would like to help our company get this capablity set up.  Any help or guidance I could get would be GREATLY appreciated.
