Has anyone set up an integration between HubSpot and eClinicalWorks? I have a client who wants to be able to manage mental health referrals between the two.
You’re right there’s no native HubSpot Marketplace app for eClinicalWorks, so most folks either go custom or use middleware. HubSpot does have general guidance on integrations
But building from scratch usually means handling SOAP/REST quirks, token refreshes, record associations, and ongoing maintenance on your own
For managing mental health referrals specifically, what you’d likely need is a two-way sync so that when a referral is created or updated in eClinicalWorks, it also shows up in HubSpot and if you track or assign it in HubSpot, it pushes back to the EHR. Doing this with manual scripts or Zapier-type tools is possible but tends to break as volume growss
We see this exact use case a lot in healthcare. Instead of custom builds, some teams go with Stacksync. It handles real-time two-way sync between HubSpot and EHRs/clinical systems without needing to maintain custom code. Referrals, patients, or provider records can move in both directions with full audit trails.
In practice, that saves engineering teams months of setup and cuts ongoing maintenance by 40%+ compared to in-house code
Might be worth considering before you go down the developer-heavy route. Happy to walk you through what that setup could look like if it’d help.
Hope this helps.

@STierney I did look at the Marketplace and couldn't find anything there. I wondered if there were any third-party solutions that anyone has tried before we went the developer route. Thanks!
Hey @juliehowlett - thanks for posting in the Community!
While I couldn't find any specific documentation on there being an integration between HubSpot and eClinicalWorks, I'm wondering if you've searched the Marketplace already. If not, I'd recommend starting there. If so, this may require the assistance of an external developer to connect the two platforms.
