I’ve run into a persistent issue with the Google Meet integration and would really appreciate some help or guidance from anyone who’s solved something similar.
I'm trying to use Google Meet with a shared "Demo Calendar" for scheduling product demos in HubSpot. I want all demos to initially come to me (Don Favero) and then manually assign them to sales reps, while using Google Meet for the video link.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
- Disconnected and reconnected my Google Calendar integration via HubSpot settings. - Installed the official Google Meet app from the App Marketplace. - Selected all permissions (Google Calendar, Meet, etc.) during setup. - Verified that my Google account (`don@dealerlakes.com`) is connected and my "Demo Calendar" is selected for both availability and booking. - Enabled both “Calendar Sync” and “Meeting Scheduling Pages.” - Restarted the meeting link setup process multiple times.
Despite all this, the **Google Meet option does not appear** in the **Location** dropdown when creating a one-on-one scheduling link. I only see custom and manual options. In the Connected Apps panel, the Google Meet app shows a red error saying **“Needs Attention – Google Meet is unavailable”** with a tooltip saying HubSpot can’t access it.
I’m using Sales Hub with Google Workspace, and this used to work fine with my default calendar. The issue only appeared after I moved bookings to a shared calendar (which I’ve already given full permissions and connected correctly).
Any insight or updates from the community or HubSpot team would be a huge help — happy to provide screenshots or test details if needed.
Hey, @DFavero👋 thanks for your question. Including all your details is always appreciated. Because this is something related to integration connections, it's likely challenging for the community to directly troubleshoot this with you. I'd recommend giving support a call for this one, as they will have access to your portal and potentially more details about the exact error cause. And we'll leave this open in case another community member has feedback for you.
Best,
Jaycee
