"The attached video has a higher bitrate than instagram's maximum bitrate of 5Mbps"
SOLVE
So i'm getting this error message when I try and schedule an Insta video post. It accepts the videos fine for FB, Linkedin & Twitter, and I can manually upload the video onto Instagram myself as well as on a different social scheduling tool....
"The attached video has a higher bitrate than instagram's maximum bitrate of 5Mbps"

It depends on how you're uploading it. IG will bring down the bitrate depending on the kind of content that it is. You can use a free tool like OpenShot Editor to export it and bring down the bitrate. Only takes a few minutes. There are also online conversion sites that you can use as well!
This documentation here outlines the requirements/specifications when posting via API. Because the integration between HubSpot and Facebook was developed through the use of API, posting through HubSpot would also need to adhere to these guidelines.
This isn't a limitation HubSpot can bypass currently as it is set on Facebook/Instagram's side. If they were to update their API requirements, then this may very well be possible in the future. 🙂
With that said, since HubSpot platform is limited by their API guidelines, the solution here is to either post directly on Instagram or to reduce the bit rate of the video. If you don't already have video editing software on your computer that can make these types of edits, HandBrake may be a great (free) option. This article might also come in handy as well, as there is a section with a cheatsheet of Instagram's video resolution and aspect ratios.
Hope this helps!
