We are have always had a problem uploading videos to Hubspot that we are trying to schedule as an Instagram reel. We get a message saying the file is too big for Instagram, these could be 20 second videos despite Instagram allowing 10 minute reels. It also says they are the wrong size meaning despite being the right size for Instagram.
Quite often we have to post the video directly on Instagram (which always works) defeating the point of scheduling ahead with Hubspot. Are there any plans to amend this?
@lbhsw if the feature for scheduling Instagram reels could be improved (meaning it doesn't do what you want it to do) then I recommend creating an idea here to request a new feature that will reach the product team directly. You can share the link back to this thread so others who have the same question can find it easily and upvote.
It sounds like the requirements aren't aligned between the two platforms and that might be more of a bug (I don't have an IG account connected to test this with) - I checked the documentation and it looks like you should be able to post reels.
If you think it's a bug, can you confirm the requirements for Instagram that you believe to be incompatible with HubSpot?
If my reply answered your question please mark it as a solution to make it easier for others to find.
What i'm saying is Hubspot's reel upload requirements don't match Instagram's reel upload requirements meaning quite often we can't upload via the scheduling tool on Hubspot. Are there plans for this to be upgraded on Hubspot?

Hi @lbhsw and welcome to the Community! We are so glad to see you here!
I'm sorry to hear about your experience regarding this.
I checked for you and when creating an Instagram reel, you have to ensure that your video meets Instagram's reel upload requirements and video requirements.
Also, let's check with other Community Members and some of our Top Experts on this: Hi @MHaskell2, @AColvin, @MeganReid, @Susanne12, @Hopkinsj, @Jnix284, @HFisher7 and @Crystal_Hopper do you have the same behavior and same error messages when trying to upload Instagram Reels, please? If yes, do you have suggestions to share to be able to upload it without these error messages, please? Was it due to the video size?
Thanks a lot and have a great day!
And please @lbhsw, let me know if there is anything else I can help with. I'll be delighted to do so!
