Has anyone else been experiencing an extremely slow social media loading time? I've been trying to post videos on the social media calendar and it takes my videos 30 mins+ to upload... It used to take a max 30 secs.

@Lauren230 I haven't experienced any change in uploading time lately. I'd start with what Kristen shared and this Knowledge Base resource

 

In addition to that, I'd reach out to HubSpot Support to see if they have any insight on why it might take longer right now. It could be a known issue that's getting fixed. If it used to take almost no time, and nothing changed on your end, it could be a HubSpot bug.

Hi Lauren -

 

We had this exact problem.  To fix, we disabled the INTEL KiLLER Intelligence Engine - this app starts on PC startup, and was throttling our internet connection.  We disabled it and had amazing results.

Slow uploading times can be due to a variety of factors:

  • Cache - If you haven't cleared your browser's cache recently this can slow down your browser's performance. As a first step, I would recommend clearing your cache and trying to upload the video in a private browser to see if that makes a difference. 
  • File Size - While there is no strict size limit for the number or size of files you upload, it's recommended that you upload files below 1 GB in size as mentioned in this knowledge base article.

You could also compress the video with video compression software such as "Handbrake" to see if that helps with the upload speed. 

 

I also wanted to invite our subject matter experts to this conversation to see if they have any advice.
