Retroactively Apply Campaigns to Social Posts

Hey there!

Our team is currently evaluating utilizing more of Hubspot's Social Tools, but the biggest hurdle we're running into is the content we're able to post natively through the platform. We rely heavily on video and posting through a 3rd party just compresses (and we're severely limited in what tools we can/can't use through Hubspot).

We'd still like to correlate posts to campaigns we're documenting in Hubspot, but I have yet to find a way to do so if we post natively. Has anyone found a workaround for this?

Hey @laurayers! Are you still having this problem? It is possible to retroactively assign campaigns - kind of.

When in Mange Social LIST VIEW, select the published posts that you would like to assign to a campaign. Once selected, "assign campaign" will appear as an edit option in the top row:

Click "assign campaign" and a pop-up will appear to select a capaign. Save and you're done!

BUT: only new clicks and interactions on the posts will be associated with the new campaign, and web page visits won’t be. This is because the URL link on the original post(s) can’t be changed.

Hope that helps!

Any updates on this? Would be great to know the workaround or if eventually Hubspot will support this.
