More than 4 photos on Social Post?

resolver

We regularly schedule and publish our LinkedIn and Facebook posts from Hubspot Social, however, if we want to add more than 4 photos (which is quite regularly), we need to go on to the actual site to post this. Can more than 4 photos be added please?

More than 4 photos on Social Post?

resolver

Hello @brontefrizzell

Currently, it's possible to upload 1 image for Instagram social posts. As for Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn, you should be able to upload up to 4 images as this is set up by the integration ( Social media)

If you wish to update more than 4 pictures to your social this option will need to be done inside the Social media. I was able to find more information in this forum ideas post here

I hope this information helps.

Kindly,

Pam

More than 4 photos on Social Post?

Hi @brontefrizzell,

There's an update on this: It's now possible to create Instagram carousel posts. To do so, you must opt into the full-screen social composer beta.

Please find the announcement below:

[Live] Instagram Carousel Support in New Social Composer Beta

What is it?

You can now publish Instagram Carousel posts within our new Social Composer. An Instagram Carousel gives you the ability to share a mix of up to 10 photos or videos as a single carousel post.

Why does it matter?

Instagram Carousel posts are a great way for marketing teams to share a variety of content in a single post that will engage and reach a larger audience.

How does it work?

To create an Instagram Carousel post:

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
  • In the upper right, click Create social post.
  • In the left panel, click the Select accounts dropdown menu. Then, select the checkboxes next to the Instagram accounts you want to post to.
  • Under add media, you can attach up to 10 images and/or video content to your post.
  • You can either select Publish now to share the Carousel immediately or Schedule for later.

Hope this helps. Have a great day!

More than 4 photos on Social Post?

PLEASE PLEASE give us more than 4 photos to post on Facebook. Its kind of strange in 2023 we can only post 4 photos on a draft in FB. We have schools that would love to post event photos and four is very limiting.

the IG thing is great, tried it and it works but even today, the same limitation of 4 images exists for FB, LI and Twitter. We do a lot of posts with multiple images and the limitation of hubspot not able to post more than 4 means we cannot use this tool at all . And for linkedin posts, there is no option of posting PDF's through hubspot, PDF posts are very common on LI these days. The marketing hub is an expensive tool, these features should have been developed.

Is there any update on this?

Being able to share multiple images across all social media platforms is a must for us and all of our clients. paying for social on HubSpot and not having this feature when so many other platforms do, I would have thought should have been top of the to-do list?

We get asked as a HubSpot partner about multiple images across the social platforms on an almost daily basis, and it's hampering the Marketing Pro level subscription.

I just got the exact same request from one of my clients. It's kind of embarassing to have to say, sorry but this expensive set of marketing tools you are paying for isn't able to accomodate that simple, obvious need. Maybe in a few years?

Well, 4 images are not good enough for Facebook and paying what we pay for HubSpot, but having to use the Facebook publishing tool is also not good enough.

HubSpot must allow more images to be uploaded to Facebook.

There are lots of other Social tools available that have worked a way around the Instagram carousel post issue by way of an app that syncs posts and reminds you to publish at the set time.  It's not perfect but it's a workaround.  Check out ContentCal for example.... Hubspot is lacking behind.   We're looking at going elsewhere as Hubspot just can't keep up with the times and other tools are available at a fraction of the cost that provide this functionality.
