LinkedIn - can you post to LinkedIn Groups in Hubspot?

Hello Everyone!

I am planning a course/class blog project and promotion through social media. I am new to Hubspot and EPP.

The class cannot create a LinkedIn company page (without corporate email address and credentials from what I understand); so what I was thinking was for the class to create a LinkedIn Group instead.

Can you post LinkedIn posts to the LinkedIn group from Hubspot?

It was a sad day when this was removed!

However, sometimes posting native beats the ability to automate.

With that said, I had to ask myself, what social tools might you use ... and yep, the answer I found was none.

Google Search:

LinkedIn does not provide a way to scheduled posts in LinkedIn Group directly, and LinkedIn does not allow scheduling tools to access LinkedIn Groups (they only allow scheduling tools to access Company Pages and Personal Profiles). Hi @MPellett,

Yes, that's possible. There are user permissions that control the social accounts the user can publish to, see "Social Publishing" here; All accounts, Their accounts only, or Draft only.

The shared notes state that you need admin priveleges to the LinkedIn company page to integrate it to Hubspot.

Can multiple hubspot account editors (team members) then post to the company page without admin priveleges?

I know this Question may be simple, yet new to the platform.

Hi @MPellett,

Unfortunately this is not supported. LinkedIn removed API support for Groups in 2017 already.

Hi,

You can only post to personal profiles or to company pages via hubspot.

This is mainly to avoid spamming.
