I need a way for people to easily share an image and text to their social feeds from a landing page

Hi! I'm looking for a way for people who are signed up for an event to easily share a designed social post and text to their feeds from a Hubspot Landing page. The problem: I don't want people to share a link BACK to that landing page.

How can we get social share images and posts easily to our customers who are not always tech savvy, so with one click they can post it on their feeds (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn) but not share a link to the page where they are sharing from. We want to provide a link in the post to a different page so people can register who see their friend's post. 

This has been super difficult for us to find a solution but seems like something that should be so easy with how integrated social is now. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Hi @alanamcconnell,

When you create share links, you can specify which link it should be pointing to, see for example this tool: https://sendview.io/social-media-share-link-generator

It's not possible to specify images within those share links – so you would have to make sure that the website or landing page which belongs to the destination URL has the correct featured image set up: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/blog/use-a-featured-image-in-your-page-or-blog-post

Thanks for your response. I tried the tool and it does not pull images into Twitter. It also does not have an Instragram option and you cannot add text for Facebook so this is not a solution for me. 

Any suggestions for something where I can offer event registrants multiple images to select from to post (that say "I'm attending!" in various ways) and generate a post for them where they can just click-to-post on Instagram, FB, LI, and X? This seems like something we could do 10 years ago but isn't possible anymore.

@alanamcconnell I remember this for Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter pulling text and featured images in the case of Fack and LinkedIn but not Instagram and X. In any case, this is not a feature in HubSpot - you would have to look into third party solutions here.
