So, I've been reading about the very volatile LinkedIn algorithm changes a lot and one of the big things is that LinkedIn punishes external content a lot (e.g. YouTube videos get 40% less reach).
How does the video post work with Hubspot? Is it still uploaded on LinkedIn or is it embedded and are there any noticeable penalties regarding reach when posting through Hubspot?
I'd love to use Hubspot for all LinkedIn posts but of course 40% less reach is quite the whammy.
Hi, @JuWa👋 HubSpot uses LinkedIn's APIs to create and publish your posts. This means your video will be treated like a LinkedIn-native post and upload. The penalty concern you mentioned is definitely valid, and doesn't apply in this case. It would be a factor if you added your video as a link from YouTube, for example.
