Hi, my name is Chisimdi. I am a sales manager in a logistics company based in Nigeria. I joined this study group so as to enable me explore social media marketing in order to help grow my company's brand, clientele, and bottom line. I have been able explore a lot of social media platforms, however, I think Facebook (Meta) is most effective social media channel to use for promotion. This has been proven available stats and surveys, and as well the increase in profitability of advertisers over the years on the platform compared to other channels. The most memorable social media update I remember done by a company, was one done by Guiness Nigeria. It was so unique because it incorporated diverse ideas, professions, talents, and culture into a simple 1 minute video. My hopes for joining this group is to get better at my job, sharpen my knowledge in Marketing on all platforms, and gain insight on how to create effective and converting ad campaigns for my company.

Due to the pandemic the online landscape grow so much that we, the creative who were into designing mostly for outdoor campaigns were at the verge of extinction. I had to move fast. I believe Facebook is the most effective channel right now because of the volume of users it has on the platform. Even with the most specific target audience, you would still get a considerable number of potential prospects.
