Hello everyone! I am Chloe and I am an Accountant in the field of Commerce and Industry. I have an online clothing shop in Instagram which I think is the most effective social media channel to use for promotion because in this channel, you are able to post photos and your target audience can immediately have their first impression. Hello everyone, im looking forward to learn more about social media. My current role is Membership Manager in an NGO. I work in the public sector and in my opinion you cant really define the most effective social media channel. Its effectiveness is based on the targeting group. I work as a sales representative in a company and want to upgrade my skills and take advantage of HubSpot and its cources as much as I can.
In my opinion the most effective social media channel to use for promotion is LinkedIn because it's a more a business centred channel than just one more social channel (like Fb or Instagram).

My name is Andrea and about to graduate from a Sales and Marketing program, I am currently working for a Fintech company as CSR for the new customers.
So, in my opinion, it depends on the target market you want to attract to your business but most generally speaking I would say that Instagram and Facebook are social media platforms with most traffic and hence it will help your business have a stronger impact when you are introducing a new product or service.
I love following Coca-Cola on social media because they have a beautiful way to sell their product, so that is always a good example for me of a successful company and ad campaign.
I hope to gain more knowledge and be more prepared for when I start my career in the marketing industry, also to grow my network and help in any way I can.

This is a marketing industry and as a team member I look to promote local businesses and local news for users to engage with.

The most effective media channel is Facebook as it gets a lot of engagement and shared posts get a lot of connectivity.
What's the last memorable social media update you remember from a company (feel free to share a link to it as well)?
The last memorbale social media update I remember featured christmas decor for a small local business, the media was eye catching and the caption was intriguing.
What are you hoping to get out of this study group?
I hope to learn more about how to grow sponsors, egage users and gain followings.
