Hey Moriayo, glad you're here! Digital marketing can be overwhelming at first, but there are so many helpful folks here. You've definitely come to the right place. Digital marketing is vast and exciting, covering areas like social media marketing, SEO, content marketing, email marketing, paid advertising, and more.
Hubspot is a great place to learn Digital Marketing and many more you need in the Digital Business world.
First best advice I can give, take it a bit slow, don't rush.
learning a bit slow allows you to learn things right, understand them better and retain them in mind better as well.
For instance, I only do one or two small video lessons per day.
I give this advice because, the shortness of hubspot courses (1-5hours) is often tempting to finish them faster. But each single hubspot course and their lessons contain many interesting insights, tips, and intros to technology explained by the teachers. They can be very new, foreign, and sometimes intimidating to a person new to digital marketing.
Finishing a course in a short time could cause one to not learn those things accurately. But, if you study the course taking your time, bit by bit, it allows you to give time for each lesson to thoroughly sink into you. and learn more from the lessons.
simply my motto is : Learning slow is learning fast (and better).
feel free to ask me, (a fellow novice myself in this field) for any help needed, and I might find I could also learn a lot from you. thanks 🙂
