Each social media platform is a little different and companies will find different types of success depending on their audience and their content. If your brand is advertising on social media, where have you found success?

My old company advertised using Facebook. Our results weren't the greatest, but I think that was because there was limited knowledge of how to drive engagement. Knowing what I know now, I'm sure I could create a much more engaging ad!
Yes, I do advertise on diff platforms I keep experimenting the ads and I have achieved the best results from instagram and Facebook as they both works best to drive leads and sales depending upon the ad's target.
I found out that it's easier to discover businesses on tiktok and Instagram reel because of their unique way of keeping the interest of users by giving them content based on their latest interests and activity.
I don't use social media for advetisement but according to me I have seen effective results in instagram. Most of the target audience can be found in instagram.
true that. Pictures definitely work wonders in business and in real life. A little suggestion though: do an audience study and match your audience profile with the social media platform so you become a lot more on point. thanks!
Yes, I used to advertise on Facebook and Instagram. The best results came from Facebook, it was easier than Instagram, people easily used to interact with my posts and engage in conversations. Maybe I should've tried different types of content for Instagram :).
way to go! Allow me my two cents: I do recommend you do an audience study and come up with a market persona to know which platform in social media is best. thanks and welcome to the club!
Spot on. Still, it would be best to fit the tool to the work at hand. Know your audience first create personas and match them with the appropriate SM platform. Facebook is good but there may be other effective ways to connect.
Yes, I promote mostly FB ads and IG ads, by promoting the business, products or services across social media, it increasing brand awareness from the get-go. Even before clicks and conversions come into play, can put the brand out there to millions of people by using social media ads.
I'm new, I wanted to come by and say hi! I'm currently NOT in the Social Media And Marketing world professionally, but personally, yes I am. I'm an Activity Director by trade and my residents love to travel. I work in Retirement Living (not a nursing home), and some of my residents love to travel. Some can't, either due to financial or physical reasons. I love to cruise, so I decided to bring my cruises to them by starting a YouTube channel to virtually take them with me. They love watching Rick Steves' and Samantha Brown, but they often get more out of the video if they see someone they know hosting the travelogue.
Then my YouTube channel took on a life of it's own and expanded to families and new cruisers. Less than a year later, I have 71 subscribers, 71 hours of Watch Time, and over 10,000 views. I do use other social media platforms to promote my channel, including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
Over the years, I've been told I'd be good at content creation. I'm on almost any kind of social media there is out there, so I decided to see if that was true, hence the other reason why I started my YouTube channel. I create all the videos myself, and I also volunteer with both Fitbit and Google, so I do have the technical background to start a channel. I combine the experience with the social media with the experience I have at Google and Fitbit to create the videos.
That's what led me to going back to school. Although I have an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, a BA in Social Work, I'm certified as an Activity Director, I'm a Dementia Practitioner, I'm certified in American Sign Language, and I have my Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, I do not have any formal education in content creation or marketing. Part of my job requires me to create content for residents and families on our social media pages, so I figured now would be the time to get that education. Ideally, I would love to do community outreach for a Retirement Living community, doing everything from planning the events to advertising them.
