Custom Coded Email Template Modules

I would want to have a custom module in my custom coded email template. 

The idea is to create a module that can be filled with each email. 

Possible solution: 

Button to add an item (max 4 items):

The item contains following:

- An image, to be selected

- Description text

- An URL

Items would be rendered if any have been added. Is there a way to create this using modules or widgets?

Hey @Niko I'm not sure I entirely understand your goal. Are you looking to create an entire email template using a custom module? How will this module be populated?
