salesforce mapping is wrong

Hubspot thinks that the following 'standard fields' and therefore the mapping cannot be changed, but they don't exist in my salesforce instance:

On Companies, Hubspot says:

But in my salesforce instance, the field is called "Account Site".  I've tried creating a field in SF called "site" but the integration won't refresh and find it.  I've tried setting the integration on this field to "Don't Sync", but it still throws and issue and won't let me switch on the sync for Companies.

Similarly, on Contacts, Hubspot thinks:

"annualrevenue" is not a standard field on the SF Contact record.  I've tried to create one, but same as above.  Has anyone hit this?  I've tried reporting it to my CSM and waiting for a response.

Thanks!

Thank you for the follow up. It turned out that the root cause was permissions/visibility settings on the salesforce side, which I have since resolved.

Hey @Bakertc happy Friday!

For the "Account Site" field in Salesforce not matching the expected field in HubSpot for Companies, it seems like there's a disconnect in the field names. Renaming the field in Salesforce to match HubSpot's expectation ("Account Site" to "site") might not be sufficient, as the integration relies on specific field mappings. Simply creating a field named "site" may not establish the necessary connection.

In the meantime, if you haven't already, double-checking the integration settings and ensuring that all configurations are properly set up on both HubSpot and Salesforce might help troubleshoot the problem.

To our top experts @TrevorJohnson, @TomM2 @Lucila-Andimol any recommendations for @Bakertc?

Thank you,

Pam

The Account Site issue turned out to be a visibility permission problem (someone had switched it off in SF).  Switching on visibility sorted that issue.

I'm still having problems with the Contact record sync.  To resolve the AnnualRevenue problem on the contact record sycn turned out to be a problem with the SF Lead record with that field having it's visibility switched off.  Switching that on cleared the sync mapping errors.  However, I now find that all the Status columns are green on the Contact field mapping, and yet still the main checkbox on the Contacts for 'enable sync' remains disabled and I don't know why.

Hey @Bakertc please, ensure that the fields related to the Status columns on the Contact object have the appropriate visibility settings enabled. Even if the mapping appears green, there might be a specific field causing the issue.

Double-check the sync configuration settings to ensure that all required fields are mapped correctly and that there are no conflicts or errors in the mapping. Also, make sure that the user account you're using for the sync process has the necessary permissions to enable sync for Contacts. Sometimes, permission issues can prevent certain actions from being performed.

Kindly,

Pam
