Zoom Hubspot Integration Sync Problem for some users

Hey Hubspot Support, 


We are currently experiencing difficulties in the synchronization process of Zoom Calls with both HubSpot and Zoom platforms. Despite successful syncing of recordings for some users, there is an issue where recordings for other users are not being synchronized properly.

 

Your assistance in identifying and resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Please advise on any troubleshooting steps or insights that could shed light on why some users' recordings are not syncing as expected.

SOLVE

Regrettably, based on my understanding, if a contact attends a Zoom meeting without being logged into a Zoom account, HubSpot is unable to sync the meeting. While it's possible to make it mandatory for participants to authenticate their Zoom accounts before attending meetings through Zoom settings, we opted against this to avoid creating a barrier for contacts participating in Zoom meetings initially.

I recommend ensuring that all users experiencing the issue have the correct permissions in both Zoom and HubSpot, and that the integration is properly set up for each individual account. It might also help to reauthorize the Zoom integration within HubSpot or check for any updates on both platforms. If the issue persists, reviewing the user’s Zoom settings for API permissions and checking HubSpot's integration logs could provide more insight.

@APilanalı @ABrowne15 Have either of you resolved this yet? We're experiencing this issue as well and have been for 1.5 months. We use ChiliPiper and HubSpot, and on 3/28 all Zoom recordings stopped auto-syncing to HubSpot.

 

The Zoom meeting activity still appears, but the recording (pushed as a Call in HS) is not going through.

 

How have you resolved this issue?

Were you able to resolve this? I also have it working for some users and not all... HubSpot support is not able to figure it out.
