Sync with Google Contacts for all users

Hi,

Initially I wanted to set up Google Contacts as our single source of truth for customer contact details and then sync with Hubspot (and other apps).

Now, the sharing function of Google Contacts is very limiting. And since Hubspot allows for free users, I thought we make Hubspot our single source of truth, add users and have them sync with their Google Contacts etc.  

But either I need to make the users all Hubspot admins to install the sync app, or I need their Google credentials to set it up for them. This is doable (by sitting next to each other or doing that during onboarding), but rather cumbersome.

Am I missing something to make our lives easier?

@JRichter0 you are correct, anyone using HubSpot as their CRM (source of truth) will need their own HubSpot account and to connect their email to HubSpot & install the Google plug in. HubSpot is set up for all users to use the system collabortively with each other, not for a central user to manage everything from "on high." I hope that answers your question!

So, is there a way for a Hubspot-non-Admin to set up Google Contacts for
themselves? So far, we always come across this Admin hurdle, actually
requiring an Admin to set it up for all users from "on high", and at the
same time the Admin requiring the users Google credentials to set it up.
Would appreciate if you could point me to the setting / step where a
regular Hubspot user can set it up for themselves. Thanks

Hi,
thanks for the quick response.
I think there is a misunderstanding. We have successfully integrated Gmail
with Hubspot. Now I am trying to set up a centralized customer contact
management system. This concerns Google Contacts and not Gmail.
