Sending Internal Emails

I am using the Contact Owner in HubSpot which is based on my Salesforce Lead/Contact owner to send internal emails to my sales staff. What is the best way to handle people who have left the company? Should I change the lead owners?

Sending Internal Emails

Hi @Jonnydk

I don't fully understand your question, but here's what I think you're asking:

  •  Person 1 is in SFDC with contact owner Sales Rep 1
  • Sales Rep 1 is also the contact owner in HubSpot for Person 1
  • Sales Rep 1 was getting internal email notifications from HubSpot
  • Sales Rep 1 leaves the company
  • Sales Rep 2 (or other rep) takes over as the contact owner for Person 1
  • Sales Rep 2 should be the new contact owner in HubSpot and SFDC
    • In this case, Sales Rep 2 would start getting the internal emails that were originally going to Sales Rep 1

Is that correct?

Sending Internal Emails

@Josh yes, I would like that to happen and not have the deactivated user issue. The problem is with reporting. If I start changing the owner names these effects reports. E.g. lead the disqualification rate. What I am noticing is I HAVE to update disqualified leads from an owner who no longer works in the company to someone who does. Correct?
