We've just connected our hubspot instance with outreach.io
I'm getting reports from sales reps that they are getting assigned many many tasks (including duplicates) for contacts that they don't own and have not put into a sequence.
Any advice or best practices for the sync? Ways I can troubleshoot?
Hey there @MRoberts8. Are the sequences where the tasks are coming from in HubSpot or Outreach?
Like @PamCotton mentioned, I'd start with the integration settings and set-up. Looking at the integration home page, reviews aren't the best. Issues like duplicates and not synching correctly are mentioned a few times.
I'd definitely see if HubSpot Support can help.

Hey @MRoberts8, thank you for posting in our Community!
I would recommend reviewing the sync settings between HubSpot and Outreach.io. Ensure that only relevant tasks are synced and that no duplicates or unnecessary tasks are generated. Verify the ownership mapping between HubSpot and Outreach.io. Ensure contacts are properly assigned to the correct sales reps in both systems. If contacts are being assigned incorrectly, adjust the ownership mapping accordingly.
