Hi! I saw another thread on this but it didn't answer my question... I need to map account addresses in Salesforce to company addresses in Hubspot. I got the warning that says "The HubSpot field typeSingle line textisn't compatible with the Salesforce field typeAddress. This could cause errors during syncing.
Tip:Please make sure these mappings have compatible field types."
Since the Saleforce field type is simply 'address' and not single-line text, what can I do to map this information to Hubspot?
In my experience, you should be able to proceed here. When the HubSpot side is a single-line text field, HubSpot cannot check for any validation rules from the Salesforce side. I would assume that the address field in Salesforce has some sort of validation rules to it.
If there are any, you would have to make sure that addresses in HubSpot are maintained accordingly despite the single-line text field accepting pretty much everything, otherwise you might see errors in the sync. In that case, you would keep a close eye on them and review them here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/salesforce/resolve-salesforce-integration-sync-errors

Unfortunately this isn't working. Once Salesforce syncs with Hubspot, it overrides whatever street address was in Hubspot and inputs the street address from Salesforce as a blank address (even though in Salesforce this is not blank). This tells me that Hubspot is not able to read/map the 'address' field from Salesforce.
The rule I have is "Prefer Salesforce" , which I understand that's why the Hubspot address field was overridden. But the part that isn't clear is why salesforce is populating the address as blank.
