I saw that HubSpot is launching Linkedin Sales Navigator CRM sync today. When I go to the App Marketplace, I found 2 similiar apps: 

- Linkedin Sales Naviator

- Linkedin CRM Sync

 

Both apps seem to be doing the same thing, can anyone explain the differences between the 2 apps? Thank you.

Actually, it's pretty clear from the features lists that the two apps are different.

 

LinkedIn Sales Navigator 

 

  • Allows you to send email from the HubSpot Contact record.
  • Recommend Leads and Contacts on your Company records.
  • Find decision makers in the app
  • One way data flow of connections and InMail from LinkedIN to HubSpot.

LinkedIN CRM Sync

 

  • Log LinkedIN Activities
  • Sync contaces and companies to LinkedIN
  • Update HubSpot data from LinkedIN
  • Get reporting data on your linked IN Activity.
  • One-way data flow of contacts, accounts, opportunities, deals, and owners to LinkedIN.
  • One-way data flow of activites to HubSpot.

Very different feature lists.

 

The first one seems to be more slanted toward giving you information to work in HubSpot.  The second is more angled to have you work in LinkedIN and report on that activity in HubSpot.

as Trevor explains they are slightly different,

but the one that was updated and revamped this days is the Linkedin CRM Sync

that includes a lot of the Sales navigator features.

I'd go for this one Linkedin CRM Sync when working with LinkedIn and Sales Navigator

The key difference is that **LinkedIn Sales Navigator** is a standalone app that provides lead insights and direct engagement tools, while **LinkedIn CRM Sync** focuses on integrating Sales Navigator data directly into your CRM, automating contact updates and activity tracking. If you want seamless CRM integration, go for **LinkedIn CRM Sync**; if you need a full-featured prospecting tool, **Sales Navigator** is the better choice.
