Integrating Multi-page Document Signing with Payment System into HubSpot

SOLVE

Hello everyone,

I'm delving deeper into the capabilities of HubSpot to enhance my business operations and have a specific query that I'm hoping to get some insights on. HubSpot's functionalities for creating quotes and enabling electronic signatures from clients are incredibly helpful.

However, my requirements slightly extend beyond the standard quote signing functionality. Specifically, I need to facilitate the electronic signing of a multi-page document by my clients, namely a research mandate that requires a signature on each page. Additionally, it's crucial for my process that the final part of this document includes a payment system, allowing clients to proceed with a payment immediately after signing.

I'm aware of the capabilities of services like DocuSign in meeting these needs, but I wonder if HubSpot can offer an integrated or compatible solution to manage this specific type of process. Ideally, I'd like to keep this process within HubSpot for the sake of centralization and efficiency it brings to client management.

Has anyone here managed to implement such a process with HubSpot, or knows of an effective way to integrate such a multi-page electronic signature solution with an embedded payment system?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions or experiences you might be willing to share.

Integrating Multi-page Document Signing with Payment System into HubSpot

Thanks for the shoutout @PamCotton !

Hi @MBosio

How's it going?

First of all, discalimer. I am the founder fo this app so this is a biased opinion...

But we have an eSignature app for HubSpot called
Portant.  It could be a great fit for you becasue we have take alot of time to integrate it with HubSpot. For example, it adds the status of signatures in the activity feed and saves links back to custom properties in HubSpot.
I made a short 60s video about it here:

The other thing we can do is redirect the signer to a payment page (e.g. Stripe or HubSpot) after they have signed the document. This payment page can be dynamic based on a property within HubSpot (or a static link if they all cost the same amount)

If that looks helpful, we have some docs to help you get started: https://docs.portant.co/portant-docs/sources/hubspot but if you need any additional help, please feel to book a call here: https://calendly.com/james-portant/30-min-meeting

Cheers,
James - CEO @ Portant

Integrating Multi-page Document Signing with Payment System into HubSpot

SOLVE

Hi @RandyPat,

Sure thing. You can set up a workflow like that using HubSpot Forms. The user would fill out a form on your website and then Portant would send them a contract for signing. You could even ask the user to add more detials in the contract, for example:

You could also just use a Google Form or Webhook to trigger this process, for example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zo6SFjdwHsE

Please let me know if I can help with anything else.

Cheers,

James

Integrating Multi-page Document Signing with Payment System into HubSpot

SOLVE

Hello @james-portant,

Thank you @PamCotton for your help

Thank you for the detailed overview of Portant and its integration capabilities with HubSpot. Your solution appears to be very promising for our electronic signature needs and the subsequent redirection to a payment system.

However, I have a specific requirement I'd like to explore beyond the scope of HubSpot integration. Is it possible to create a "powerform" similar to what DocuSign offers, accessible directly via a link? The goal is to allow our prospects to fill out and sign a contract (which would already include our signature) by simply entering their details. Upon signing, they would automatically be redirected to a thank you page.

This functionality would provide a seamless and integrated user experience, especially useful for targeted campaigns or instances where direct integration with HubSpot is not necessary. Importantly, it should be straightforward and user-friendly, not requiring the user to create an account or go through any complex processes.

Does Portant offer a solution that caters to this specific need? If so, could you guide me on how to implement this or if there are any customized options available to accommodate this use case?

I appreciate your assistance in advance and am open to any suggestions or recommendations you might have.

Best regards, RandyPat

Hey @RandyPat, thank you for posting in our Community.

One potential solution could involve leveraging the HubSpot API to integrate with a service like DocuSign or another e-signature platform that supports multipage document signing. By integrating with such a platform, you can maintain the centralization and efficiency benefits of HubSpot while extending its capabilities to meet your specific needs.

To our top experts, @LouiseHare, @james-portant, and @RSchweighart do you have any recommendations for @RandyPat?

Kindly,

Pam
