I've read multiple threads and from what it seems -- it is not possible to sync all the company data I have created in Hubspot over to Shopify.
I had immediate success when syncing my products FROM Shopify --> Hubspot.
Next I tried to sync FROM Hubspot --> Shopify all my companies created in Hubspot. Well, only the fields allowed on the free version since I did not want to pay for my Hubspot upgrade until everything is ready to launch.
I get stuck in an endless loop of being asked for my subdomain. Then blink - getting asked again, and again, endlessly.
I find it odd that this capability exists insofar as you can choose to do it -- so then, whty are there so many other posts saying you cannot unless you use a 3P app like miniOrange?
I am not opposed to doing it - but seems like I don't need to since you are at least allowed to choose the options to do it on the Hubspot<-->Shopify Integration sync that I am running in Hubspot and clicking on my Shopify integration.
It sounds like you're trying to sync company data from HubSpot to Shopify. Here's a simple breakdown to help.
The sync might not be working because of these reasons -
1. The built-in integration between HubSpot and Shopify mainly supports syncing products and customer data (like contacts) from Shopify to HubSpot. It doesn’t natively support syncing company data from HubSpot back to Shopify.
2. The loop asking for your subdomain could mean there’s a setup error or a limitation due to the free version of HubSpot. The sync options you're seeing may not fully function without an upgrade or a different tool.
This is what you can do -
1. Consider using tools like miniOrange or Zapier. These apps can help you sync your HubSpot company data to Shopify by mapping the fields you want.
2. Sometimes, the features you need might only be available with a paid HubSpot plan. Check if upgrading would provide the capabilities you're looking for.
3. If you have access to a developer, creating a custom integration using HubSpot's and Shopify's APIs is another option.
Next steps: 1. Try using a third-party tool to sync the data. 2. Check if a HubSpot plan upgrade is necessary. 3. Explore a custom integration if you need more control.
This should help you find the best solution for syncing your data.
