Integrated / connected my hubspot with smartlead but it's not recording any info in my contacts hubspot profiles. Assuming the point of integration is for emails to be recorded in client profiles. Any way to fix this instead of manually inputting every email?
Make sure on the integrations tab withing Smartlead you have the 'add activity to HubSpot' toggle switched on.
I would also double check within the camapign settings that you have enabled the integration and this toggle. Sometimes these settings don't always automatically pull through to each campaign.
There are a few types of data that you might want to sync between Smartlead and HubSpot using Smartlead's native integration, for starters:
Leads: (in HubSpot, this would span both Company and Contact objects)—only the contact object is written to, without company-level associations, at this time.
Activities: (email sent, email reply, email open, link click, unsubscribe, bounce, lead category updated events)—email activities are synced however the other events are logged only through the note object
You may also want to forward Smartlead campaign data to additional endpoints (Clay, Make, Zapier, Cargo, etc.)—currently only Slack is supported and one other webhook URL.
Block list: (email addresseses and domains in HubSpot that you want to sync into Smartlead)—this is not supported
If you are using Smartlead as a team, the native HubSpot integration works with the stipulations mentioned here. It also has a property mapping feature if you are uploading a lot of enriched data to Smartlead prior to starting your campaigns. You can use reports in Smartlead to see how the campaigns are going and handle replies in the Smartlead inbox.
If you want to use timeline events, have native reporting in HubSpot, want reps to stay inside of HubSpot (vs. the Smartlead inbox), are an agency with multiple HubSpot portals you want to sync from one Smartlead account, or are using Clay like @JMaddox9 mentioned then it won't work as well for you.
Typically these are the situations where folks look at OutboundSync, a certified Smartlead partner and custom integration between Smartlead and HubSpot that's listed in the HubSpot App Marketplace.

I reached out to smartlead; you have to have "send to hubspot" enabled when you first upload the CSV. I run smartlead through Clay so they said none of the activity will be logged.
I'm having the same issue even when I've done both steps above. Is anyone else struggling here? Defeats the value prop of Smartlead, complete bust if it can't log the most important data in my CRM.
