Google Sheets with Line Items

SOLVE

Hi All

We're using HS automations and the Google Sheets marketplace app to push Deal Properties and Line Item updates into rows in Google Sheets.

We are finding that only the first line item associated with the deal is being pushed to sheets. Anyone try this before or encounter this challenge?

Thank you Kennedy
We also found that with multiple Deal properties as triggers in a single workflow, the workflow didn't go through when multiple deal properties were updated together.
We used make.com scenarios coupled with webhooks in private app in Hubspot to effect the information pass through to Google Sheets for both Deal and Line Item changes and this works seamlessly.

Hey @SM22,
Good timing! We just launched Google Sheets templates for Portant. It allows you to take infomation from HubSport and any connected object and customise Google Sheets (or Docs or Slides) with the data.
If you'd like to jump on a call I'd be more than happy to give you a demo: https://calendly.com/james-portant/30-min-meeting?month=2024-08

Hi @SM22 - you can try using Superjoin, a HubSpot-certified Marketplace app to connect HubSpot and Google Sheets. You can drill down into a deal and bring all the line items associated with a deal. Hope this helps!

Google Sheets with Line Items

SOLVE

Hi @SM22! Welcome to the Community-- happy to have you here 😊

I understand you are adding Deal and Line Item data into Google Sheets via workflows, as described in this Knowledge Base article

Could you clarify if you see this issue when adding new data for the first time, or is this happening when you try to update data? If the latter, the KB above describes that if multiple rows have matching values, only the first row containing the matching cell will be updated. If this is happening with net new data only, then please attach a screenshot of the workflow action and describe a specific example, so we can dig a bit deeper!

Maybe some of our experts have additional context. @karstenkoehler & @james-portant any ideas why only the first line item of a deal is syncing to Google Sheets? Is this expected?

Best,
Kennedy
