Automate Contact Name in URL/Content Slug for Quotes

Hello HubSpot Community,

I'm looking to automate part of our quoting process on HubSpot. When generating a quote, we manually input each contact's full name into the URL/Content slug field. Is there a way to have the contact's full name automatically populate this field?

Steps in our current process:

1. Create a new quote.
2. Select the contact.
3. Manually input the contact’s name into the URL/Content slug.

This manual entry is quite time-consuming, and I'm hoping to streamline it. Does HubSpot have a feature or a workaround that could help automate this?

Hi Kubilay,

The quote slug can be changed via the HubSpot API, so you can use custom-coded actions in a Quote-based workflow to make the change.

The slug must be unique so you would need to add some logic to handle creating unique slugs for more than one quote for the same contact name.

I understand that you'd like to automate the edit part of the content slug in the quotes. Please let me know if that's not the case.

Are you using a custom quote?
Maybe in the code, is there a way to add personalization token for the content slug? I have never seen that yet but just sharing some ideas.
