3CX integration

We are realtively new users to HubSpot. We have a 3CX phone system and our 3CX dealer has added integration to our HubSpot account. However, it does not look up the number or find a contact. It just adds a contact called "New3CXcontact" and not much else.

Where do I got to find help fixing this? To my 3CX dealer or is it something in HubSpot.
I do not feel compfortable writing these codes and script for apps.
Any help would be good.

This integration is built and supported by 3CX itself, so I'd recommend reaching out to 3CX directly. They should have all of the information on how this integration whould work and if the set up in your account is correct.

Hi, Can I ask whether the log for the call recording remain permanently?

And can I make access right for the call recording?

Deeper in the context for you to understand: We are using 3CX to call and do not integrate with Hubspot. We copy the phone and paste to 3CX webclient website directly and make the call. Somehow Hubspot record the call in Hubspot activity log and can re-hear the call recording also.

Hi @Long_Nguyen ,

 

The call recordings will be stored as long as the contact is stored in HubSpot. If you delete the contact, the recording will be also deleted.

In regards to the permission (access right), currently we aren't able to set access permissions for the call object.

@msmicrocool  We're using 3CX webclient. 3CX intergration does not work on Hubspot. However, we copy the phone number and paste directly to 3CX webclient website to call. And somehow Hubspot recorded the call (able to listen agian) in Hubspot activity.

Thanks for the update.... 3CX has a instruction sheet on how to integrate with HubSpot. I have found someone outside both organizations who is experimenting. We want it to a). log an outgoing call and b). bring the customer up on the screen when the phone is answered.
It works like a treat on my 3CX mobile application. I have no idea why!!!

I will post news if/when we get it working on the office system

We ran the free version for a while and imported data from Act! not really knowing what we are doing.
I found last night that the phone numbers did not go in the right place so we think that this is probably the reason why. We have engaged Trujay to make the transfer correctly so hopefully it should resolve our questions.
