Workspaces -> Prospecting -> Your Leads

If I change lifestyle stage to lead or lead status to new or open it does not auto populate to "your leads".

How do I this from the contact record and quickly?

Hi @JPadilla97

No, leads is an additional object to contacts - the various "lead" names and properties floating around HubSpot can be confusing.

This article outlines how you can create leads (the object), once a lead has been created it will show up in the prospecting / sales workspace.

Hope that helps.

I went to page you linked and followed the instructions. I believe this is what I originally described.

I have the automation set up so a new lead is ceated when a contact moves to a lifecyle stage set as "lead".

When I am viewing a contact and I am changing the lifecyle stage to lead, it still doesn't populate in the prospecting / sales workspace.

Do you have a paid sales seat assigend to your user?

It's a pre-requisite to use the sales workspace. Also are those leads being assigned to you, and what are your view permissions for leads?
