Unable to update automated emails in deal workflows

Hello,

 

There's an unexplained issue where someone with the ability to publish emails is not able to publish some emails in deal-based workflows.

 

You can see on the review screen, right below the error, that it already is an automated email.

We've contacted support 3 separate times with an hour+ on Zoom.

 

Has anyone here experienced this error?

I've never seen this happen, but have you tried to clone the email - I know thats a pain but it's clearly a bug that folks (HubSpot) can't seem to get to the bottom of. Maybe cloning it would reboot that? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  - the old turn it off and turn it on again advice...

 

if that works - you could simply swap out the email in the automation.

 

Also curious - is the deal personalization needed? I'm not sure what the use case.

 

Is this potentially something that shouldn't be automated and is better utilized as a sales email template or sales sequence for follow up?
